Making home decor items with a vacuum former

Combining vacuum forming with artisanal techniques gives creators new options. Learn how Emily from Maison Charlett uses her MY YARD FORMART S vacuum former to create home decor items.

Emily Charlett, the creative mind behind Maison Charlett, is an artizan based in the south of France. Passionate about handmade design, Emily crafts a beautiful range of home décor pieces using terrazzo - a striking composite material known for its colourful, speckled appearance. Her shop is filled with one-of-a-kind home decor items, from elegant candle holders and pots to coasters and more.

After making terrazzo magnets with her MY YARD vacuum former in an earlier article, Emily shared an example of how to easily duplicate items by vacuum forming molds.

In this Instagram post, you can see how she used vase covers that she previously made and made a new mold out of them.
By combining traditional crafting techniques with modern technology, she can then create multiple copies of these items, helping her create larger volumes with ease.
